Wikiagency LTD is a Wikipedia page editing company that works with clients connected to Armenia. We improve existing pages by correcting facts, adding independent sources, removing promotional wording and responding to volunteers, always with paid editing disclosed.
This guide explains how we work, what editing involves for Armenian subjects, what to ask before you hire a provider, and what you can realistically expect.
Why a Wikipedia page edit in Armenia needs Armenian and diaspora sources
Good editing starts with the sources, and for Armenia the sources are often not in English. Local newspapers, official gazettes, registries and academic papers published in Armenian may be the only independent coverage that exists.
English Wikipedia accepts such sources, provided they are reliable. We read them in the original, record the title, publisher and date, and give an English translation of the relevant passage so that reviewers who do not read Armenian can still check the claim.
This is slower than quoting a summary in English, but it prevents the most common failure on pages about Armenian subjects, which is a claim that nobody can verify.
It also protects the client. A reference that a reviewer can follow is far less likely to be challenged than one that is merely asserted.
Armenian script, transliteration and names in a Wikipedia page edit
Armenian relies on its own alphabet, and there are two standard forms of the language, Eastern and Western. Romanisation varies, so one surname may appear as -yan, -ian or -yants in distinct sources. A careless Wikipedia page editing can leave several spellings in the same article.
Put simply, we pick the spelling used by the most dependable English-language sources, record alternatives in the lead and create redirects for frequent variants. When we refresh your Wikipedia page we also include the Armenian-script form where it helps, without crowding the first sentence.
Set names, such as Yerevan, Gyumri, Vanadzor and Gyumri’s older names, are handled the same way, so users searching in English or Armenian reach the right article after the Wikipedia page edit.
What a typical Wikipedia page editing in Armenia includes
A typical engagement begins with a read-through of the existing page and its history, followed by a written list of what should change and why. You see that list before we touch the article.
Next come the edits themselves, made in small, sourced steps with disclosure on the user page and, where needed, on the talk page. We reply to volunteers who question a change and adjust the wording when they have a fair point.
The engagement ends with a short summary of what was changed, which sources were added, what remains open, and what we recommend watching. For Armenian clients, the summary also notes any sources in Armenian that were used.
If the page needs more than editing, for example a rewrite or a deletion review, we say so at the start instead of letting the scope grow quietly.
Politics, history and sensitive topics: neutral Wikipedia page edits
Armenian pages frequently touch on history, borders, conflict and national identity, and these are contentious topics on Wikipedia. A Wikipedia page edit that draws on emotive language or one-sided sources will be challenged rapidly, and sensitive topics may be subject to special restrictions.
Put simply, our Wikipedia page editing company’s services in Armenia hold on to strictly to neutral wording, attribute contested statements and rely on high-standard sources, such as academic work. If you wish to revise your Wikipedia page after an appointment or a political change, we state the facts, with a date and a source, and nothing more.
Put simply, we decline to remove well-sourced information at a client’s request, and we set out why a balanced article is the most durable.
Yerevan, Gyumri and the regions: local context
Yerevan hosts most institutions, but Gyumri, Vanadzor, Dilijan, Goris and other towns have their own media, universities and cultural life. A Wikipedia page edit for a Gyumri museum will draw on distinct sources from one for a Yerevan software company.
Regional newspapers, municipal sites and cultural institutions all assist, and we cite them with translations. We assemble a source list for each put and next propose a Wikipedia page edit that fits the evidence.
As a rule, if local reporting is limited, we let you know early that a full Wikipedia page editing may be premature and propose a smaller sourced change instead.
Technology, start-ups and the wider economy
Armenia’s information technology sector, with software firms, engineering centres and start-ups, has drawn international attention, alongside food, mining, tourism and financial services. Company pages need a Wikipedia page edit after funding, acquisitions, product launches or leadership changes.
In practice, when we refresh a Wikipedia page for a technology company we set out what it does, where it is based, who owns it and what independent sources say, and we leave out claims about valuation unless a trustworthy outlet publishes them. We rely on business media, regulator notices and independent reporting, not brochures.
A careful Wikipedia page editing safeguards the company from the removal of loose figures and promotional phrases.
How to choose a Wikipedia page editing company in Armenia
A weak provider can leave an Armenian page tagged, reverted or even deleted, and the history will demonstrate it. Open by asking how the company discloses paid editing, who its editors are, which sources it draws on and what happens if a change is challenged. Choosing a Wikipedia page editing company in Armenia is a purchasing decision with unusual dangers, since the work is visible to every person who opens the page history.
Query any Wikipedia page editing company in Armenia to spell out its process in writing. You should see who edits, if changes be put through edit requests, what sources will be cited, and how disclosure is handled, with Armenian and English references named where they apply.
Fixed prices for a defined piece of work are easier to compare than open-ended hourly promises, and a plain limit on revisions protects both sides. Next, verify scope and pricing. For Armenian subjects in information technology or brandy and food, also ask whether the company has handled similar pages and can prove examples of accepted edits that are still live.
No Wikipedia page editing company controls volunteer editors, so any promise that an edit will stay forever should end the conversation. Finally, look for honesty about limits. The best companies set out the pitfalls, spell out how they reduce them and show you the public record of their work.
In brief, the best Wikipedia page editing company in Armenia is the one that can prove disclosed work, spell out its Wikipedia editing process and accept the limits of what any Wikipedia editor can promise.
Red flags when hiring a Wikipedia page editing company in Armenia
Most bad experiences with a Wikipedia page editing company in Armenia follow the same few patterns. The first is a guarantee: promises that a page will be approved, stay live or rank in search are not credible, because those decisions belong to volunteers. The second is secrecy, such as refusing to name the editor, avoiding paid-editing disclosure or suggesting you should not mention that you hired assist.
The third red flag is how the company says it gets sources. Related warning signs are multiple accounts, bulk copy-and-paste text, and drafts full of superlatives. Any offer to pay journalists, place fake articles, buy mentions or create sources for the purpose of citation breaches Wikipedia’s rules and can get the page, the accounts and your name into a very public discussion.
Finally, be wary of companies that quote a price without looking at the page, that cannot set out edit requests or conflict of interest in plain words, or that demonstrate only screenshots instead of live links. In Caucasus, where plenty of clients are new to Wikipedia’s culture, these warning signs matter even more. A Wikipedia page editing company worth hiring is glad to be checked.
A Wikipedia editing company that avoids these warning signs, and that welcomes points about its Wikipedia page editing process, is far more likely to deliver edits that last.
Freelancer, in-house team or Wikipedia page editing company: which fits Armenian clients?
Clients in Armenia typically have three choices for improving a Wikipedia page: hiring a freelancer, asking an in-house communications team to do it, or using a specialist Wikipedia page editing company. Each can work, and the right choice depends on the size of the task, the risk to your reputation and how much Wikipedia experience you already have.
In practice, a freelancer can be economical for a single small correction, but one person cannot every time cover review, sourcing in Armenian, monitoring and a second opinion. An in-house team knows the subject best, yet it has the strongest conflict of interest and may be tempted to edit directly, which is the quickest way to draw scrutiny. A company brings process, several editors, documented disclosure and continuity.
Put simply, for Armenian companies, public figures and institutions in Yerevan, Gyumri or Vanadzor, a specialist typically makes the most sense when the page has been tagged, challenged or neglected, or when the subject is contested. We tell clients honestly which route suits them, even when it means we are not needed. For a simple typo you can draw on the talk page yourself.
Whichever route you choose, a Wikipedia page editing company should work with your team, not around it, and should leave you with an obvious record of every Wikipedia edit.
How a Wikipedia page editing company works with Armenian clients, step by step
In most cases, we next review the existing page and its history free of charge, looking at tags, talk-page discussions, sources and any earlier disputes, so that nothing surprises either side later. Our process begins with a kick-off conversation, where you tell us what the page says now, what is mistaken with it and what outcome you hope for.
Next we prepare a prepared editing plan. It lists each proposed change, the dependable source that supports it, as to whether it will be a direct edit or an edit request, and the likely time it will take. For Armenia subjects we also decide which Armenian and English sources carry the most weight. You approve the plan, we agree the price, and solely after that does any editor touch the page.
During delivery, our editors make or propose the changes under a disclosed account, write clear edit summaries and answer any points from volunteers. After the edits, we monitor the page, report what was accepted, adjusted or declined, and suggest sensible keep to-ups. You retain a full record of every change and every discussion.
That is how a Wikipedia page editing company in Armenia should work: plan first, disclose consistently, edit thoroughly and monitor afterwards.
The team, credentials and accountability behind Wikiagency LTD
In most cases, our team includes 20 Wikipedia administrators, 50 autopatrolled editors and more than 30 experienced writers, and our editors have made over 800,000 Wikipedia edits. Wikiagency LTD is a top-rated Wikipedia page editing company working across page creation, editing, updating, translation, monitoring, maintenance, image and infobox updates, and optimisation.
As a rule, we work from offices in the United Kingdom, United States, UAE and Pakistan, so Armenian clients in Caucasus can speak to a real team during their own working hours. Every project has a named project manager, a prepared scope and a disclosed account, which makes it straightforward to see who is responsible for each change.
Accountability also means saying no. We decline to work on pages where the subject obviously lacks trustworthy independent coverage, we refuse to draw on deceptive tactics, and we tell clients when a requested change would breach policy. That record of restraint is why Armenian clients and volunteer editors can trust the work.
As a Wikipedia page editing company, Wikiagency LTD measures itself by the standard and stability of its Wikipedia edits rather than by the volume of work.
What Armenian clients should prepare before contacting a Wikipedia page editing company
As a rule, you can save time and money by arriving prepared. Provide the exact web address of the Wikipedia page, a list of what you believe is wrong or missing, and any dependable published sources that support your corrections, as to whether they are in Armenian or English. If the page does not exist yet, say so, because a new page is a different service.
Tell us who the page is about and what your relationship to it is. A conflict of interest is normal and manageable, but it must be disclosed. Also have the correct legal and widespread names, dates, official titles and any earlier names set, since confusion over names is a frequent cause of edits being challenged for Armenian subjects.
Do not provide press releases or promotional brochures as evidence, and do not edit the page yourself while we are working on it, because overlapping changes can confuse volunteers and slow the review. If your work is in information technology, mining or another specialist area, mention the publications that cover you best.
Preparing well helps any Wikipedia page editing company deliver a faster, cheaper and more accurate Wikipedia page edit.
Questions we hear from Yerevan, Gyumri and Vanadzor about hiring a Wikipedia page editing company
People often ask whether a Wikipedia page editing company in Armenia can merely change a page overnight. The honest answer is that corrections that are small and well sourced can be quick, but significant changes pass through review by volunteers who are not paid and do not owe any person a deadline. We plan around that.
Others request if using a company will harm the page. Transparent paid editing, neutral wording and proper sources make a page easier for volunteers to accept, while hidden or amateur edits are the main underlying problem of tags and reversions. Used correctly, it does the opposite. Our job is to make the page more dependable, not more promotional.
Clients also request how to judge success. We suggest four measures: accuracy of the page against trustworthy sources, removal or prevention of maintenance tags, stability over the following months, and a clear public record of discussion. If you wish to talk it through, you can book a meeting, review our Wikipedia page editing services in Armenia page, or see our Wikipedia page update services in Armenia.
Whatever you decide, a trustworthy Wikipedia page editing company in Armenia will spell out, disclose and document its Wikipedia editing from start to finish.
Summary: what to expect from a Wikipedia page editing company in Armenia
In most cases, a good Wikipedia page editing company in Armenia will review your Wikipedia page for free, set out every Wikipedia edit it proposes and disclose paid editing on Wikipedia in the open. It will use reliable sources, respect Wikipedia editing policy and never promise a result that solely volunteers can decide.
If your Wikipedia page needs a careful edit, our Wikipedia editing company can begin with a free review. Wikiagency LTD offers that kind of Wikipedia page editing, with Wikipedia editors who handle edit requests, Wikipedia page updating, monitoring and maintenance in one place.
To compare options, query each Wikipedia page editing company the same points about disclosure, sources, pricing and Wikipedia page monitoring, and then select the Wikipedia editing company that answers most plainly.
Brandy, wine, apricots and food producers
As a rule, a Wikipedia page edit for a producer should rely on trade press, competition organisers and independent reports. Armenian brandy, wine and agricultural products are well known, and producers commonly want their Wikipedia pages updated after new releases, awards or export deals.
Put simply, we confirm awards with the organiser and one independent source, steer clear of superlatives such as “finest” and set out the product in plain terms. Where a producer has a long history, we cite archives or academic works for early dates.
Geographical and production claims are phrased closely, since a vague claim in a Wikipedia page edit is the first to be questioned.
Chess, weightlifting and wrestling: Wikipedia page editing company services for Armenian athletes
Chess, weightlifting, wrestling, boxing and football are major sports, and Armenian competitors appear at world and European championships. A Wikipedia page edit for an athlete covers results, rankings, medals and records, each of which should match an official federation source.
Put simply, we confirm federation databases, add statistics with citations and revise the infobox. Our Wikipedia page editing company’s services in Armenia also cover coaches, clubs and national teams that need a current roster or rating.
Ratings and rankings change regularly, so we state the date for each figure and suggest a Wikipedia page edit at the end of a season or tournament.
Music, literature and film: updating cultural Wikipedia pages
As a rule, a Wikipedia page edit for an artist typically adds releases, performances, awards and critical reviews, each with a reliable source. From the duduk and sacred music to jazz, literature and film, Armenian culture is celebrated abroad.
Wikipedia page editing company in Armenia for composers and performers also handle works lists, where each entry should be verifiable. In actual projects, we rely on cultural journalism and independent reviews and never copy lyrics or passages into a page.
Diaspora artists who work in Los Angeles, Paris or Beirut are described using sources from those places too, so the Wikipedia page edit reflects their entire career.
Universities, medicine and science in Armenia
Universities, research institutes and hospitals in Armenia collaborate widely, and their pages change with new programmes, partnerships and leadership. A Wikipedia page edit for an institution should rely on independent reports and academic publications.
As a rule, our Wikipedia page editing company’s services in Armenia steer clear of unverifiable rankings and promotional language. To refresh your Wikipedia page for a research group we also verify citation databases and publisher pages for each listed work.
Individual scholars benefit from a sourced Wikipedia page editing that lists positions and awards, which helps students, colleagues and journalists.
The Armenian diaspora and cross-border founders
Put simply, a Wikipedia page edit must reconcile those accounts without favouring one market. Armenian founders and professionals live in the United States, Russia, France, Lebanon and plenty of other countries, and their pages combine coverage from several places.
Everything can be handled remotely, and you can book a meeting a call at a time that suits your time zone. In most cases, we research each country’s sources, confirm name spellings in each language and write a Wikipedia page edit that places the person’s work in the right context.
Put simply, if a business is too new for a standalone article, a sourced mention in an existing article may be a quicker Wikipedia page editing.
Photographs and licensing for a Wikipedia page edit in Armenia
A photograph can help a page, but only if its rights are clear. Images taken by the client can be uploaded to Wikimedia Commons under a free licence, and the licence cannot be withdrawn afterwards.
Pictures found online are usually not free to use. We ask where an image came from, who owns it and whether the owner agrees to a free licence before uploading anything.
Captions must be factual and match the sources, and we add descriptive text so that the image is usable by readers who rely on screen readers.
Museums, churches and heritage organisations
In most cases, a Wikipedia page edit here may add a restoration, an exhibition, a new director or a partnership with a foreign institution. Armenia’s monasteries, manuscript collections and museums attract researchers and visitors, and the organisations that care for them need accurate pages.
Put simply, our Wikipedia page editing company’s services in Armenia steer clear of unverified claims about age, rarity or value, which are common grounds for a volunteer to remove text. We rely on academic works, conservation reports and independent coverage, and we set out holdings in measured terms.
Where a site has religious significance, we rely on neutral language and observe the sources, so the Wikipedia page edit respects both visitors and the subject.
How Wikiagency LTD measures a successful Wikipedia page editing in Armenia
Success on Wikipedia is not a ranking or a page view. It is a page that stays accurate, stays neutral and survives review, and we measure the work against those outcomes.
The first measure is accuracy: every claim matches a reliable source. The second is stability, meaning edits are not reverted and no new maintenance banners appear. The third is the tone of the talk page, which should be calm and constructive.
The fourth is the quality of the sourcing itself. A page supported by several independent references is harder to challenge than one resting on a single article, and we report on how that balance changes over time.
Wikiagency LTD Wikipedia Page Creation Services in Armenia
When a subject connected to Armenia has no page yet, we do not start by writing. We start by asking whether the person, company or work has earned independent coverage, because a draft without it will not pass review however carefully it is phrased.
Once the coverage exists, we draft in neutral language, cite every claim and submit through the Articles for Creation process, so that experienced volunteers read the draft before it goes live. Many Armenian subjects have their best sources in Armenian, and we cite those with translated titles.
Because we work as a company rather than as a single freelancer, the draft, the source list and the review history stay in one record. Anyone on your side who edits the page later starts from the same evidence we used.
Wikiagency LTD Notability Assessment Services in Armenia
A notability assessment is a short written opinion we give before any drafting begins. For Armenia we look at national and regional press in Yerevan and Gyumri, trade publications, books and broadcast coverage, and ask whether several sources are independent, reliable and genuinely about the subject.
If the answer is not yet, we say so plainly and explain what would change it: a published interview, an award judged by outsiders, or coverage beyond Armenia. You can then decide whether to wait instead of paying for a page that would be declined.
The assessment follows the general notability guideline and, where relevant, the narrower guidelines for people, companies, creative work, sport or academics.
Wikiagency LTD Wikipedia Page Editing Services in Armenia
Editing is the core of what a Wikipedia page editing company does. On an existing page we read the full revision history first, because the history shows what volunteers have already objected to and what they have left alone.
We then make focused changes: replacing unsourced or promotional sentences, adding independent references, correcting dates and names, and rebuilding sections so that the lead summarises the body. Anything likely to be contested goes to the talk page as an edit request, with our paid relationship disclosed.
Each change is small and explained in the edit summary. Small, well-sourced edits are accepted faster and are much harder to revert, which matters for pages about Armenian organisations and people.
Wikiagency LTD Wikipedia Page Updating Services in Armenia
Pages go out of date quietly. A new role, a product launch, an acquisition or a court ruling can leave the article describing a situation that ended a year ago. Our updating work starts with a comparison between the page and the best current sources.
We add only what independent sources report, with dates, and we remove claims that are no longer supported. For Armenian subjects we also check whether older material was written from sources that have since moved or disappeared.
Updates can be one-off or scheduled. A quarterly rhythm suits organisations with regular news, while a yearly review is usually enough for individuals.
Wikiagency LTD Wikipedia Page Translation Services in Armenia
Translation on Wikipedia is not a word-for-word exercise. A page written in Armenian may rely on sources and conventions that the English edition treats differently, so we adapt the text, check that every claim still has a reliable source and give translated titles for foreign-language references.
We also keep the editions consistent. When the English page changes, we look at whether the Armenian version needs the same correction, and the other way round, so facts do not drift apart.
Machine translation is used only as a first pass. A person who reads both languages reviews each paragraph before anything is published.
Wikiagency LTD Wikipedia Page Monitoring Services in Armenia
Monitoring means somebody watches the page and reacts. We follow the revision history, the talk page and related deletion or discussion boards for each page under our care, and we report anything unusual instead of waiting for you to notice.
Typical findings are good-faith additions that need sources, vandalism, a new maintenance banner, or a dispute that is about to turn into an edit war. Most are small and quickly resolved when they are caught early.
You receive a short report on a regular schedule, so a page about an Armenian subject does not change under you without your knowledge.
Wikiagency LTD Wikipedia Page Maintenance Services in Armenia
Maintenance is the steady work that keeps a page in the condition it was delivered in: fixing broken links, replacing dead references with archived copies, tidying formatting and keeping dates and figures current.
It also covers the less visible tasks, such as checking categories, interwiki links and the connection to Wikidata, which affect how the page is found and how search engines and AI assistants read it.
We set the scope in advance, and we do not alter the substance of a page without a source or a talk-page discussion.
Wikiagency LTD Wikipedia Page Maintenance Tag Removal Services in Armenia
A maintenance tag is a public note that volunteers believe the page has a problem, for example missing references, promotional tone or a possible conflict of interest. Tags are not penalties, and they should not simply be deleted.
We read what the tag claims, fix the underlying problem with sources and neutral wording, and explain the fix on the talk page. Only then do we ask for the tag to be removed, or remove it ourselves where the rules allow.
Removing a tag without repairing the cause usually brings it back within days, so the repair always comes first.
Wikiagency LTD Wikipedia Deleted Page Recovery Services in Armenia
If a page was deleted, the first job is to read the deletion discussion and the closing summary. They tell us whether the reason was notability, sourcing, promotion or a technical issue, and that decides the route.
The route is usually one of three: a request to restore the page to draft space, a rewritten draft that answers the stated objections, or a formal deletion review when the closing decision looks wrong. We choose whichever the record supports.
We work with new evidence, not argument, and we stay courteous with the volunteers involved. That approach is what usually makes the second review go differently.
Wikiagency LTD Wikipedia Page Image Update Services in Armenia
Images on Wikipedia must be free to use or properly licensed, and each upload needs a clear source. We find or arrange suitable portraits, logos and photographs and upload them to Wikimedia Commons with the right licence and description.
Logos and brand marks follow separate rules. Simple logos can sometimes go on Commons, while others are used under the encyclopedia’s non-free content policy, with a rationale and a size limit.
We then replace outdated images on the page and write accurate captions, since a wrong caption is as damaging as a wrong sentence.
Wikiagency LTD Wikipedia Page Infobox Update Services in Armenia
The infobox is the summary box at the top right of a page. It is often what readers, search engines and AI assistants take first, so errors there travel far.
We check every field against a reliable source: names, dates, headquarters, leadership, figures and links. Fields we cannot source are left empty instead of being filled with the subject’s own claims.
Where it helps, we also align the infobox with the matching Wikidata entry, so the two do not contradict each other.
Wikiagency LTD Wikipedia Article Writing Services in Armenia
Article writing is the work of turning sources into a readable, neutral page. We research independent coverage first, outline the sections the sources can support, and then write with an encyclopedic voice, not a marketing one.
Every statement is cited, quotations are kept short, and wording that sounds like praise is replaced with facts. For Armenian subjects we explain local terms and give context that an international reader would need.
The finished draft is disclosed as paid work and submitted for independent review, which is the route that gives it the best chance of lasting.
Wikiagency LTD Wikipedia Backlink Building Services in Armenia
Links on Wikipedia are not a way to pass authority to a website. Almost all external links are marked so that search engines ignore them, and links added only for promotion are removed.
What we do build are legitimate connections: internal links from related articles to your page, correct categories, and citations to your organisation where an independent source has reported on it. These help readers find the page and help editors see that it belongs.
We avoid anything that looks like link spam, because it damages the page and the people connected to it.
Common mistakes that make a Wikipedia page edit fail
The most common mistake is promotional wording. Words such as leading, innovative or award-winning are opinions, and an edit that contains them is likely to be reverted. We replace them with facts and sources.
The second is relying on the subject’s own website, press releases or paid placements for claims that need independent support. Those can confirm basic details, but praise or measurement needs outside coverage.
The third is editing without disclosure. Anyone paid or closely connected must say so under the Wikimedia Terms of Use, and hiding it is the quickest way to lose volunteers’ trust.
The fourth is impatience. Rapid repeated edits can look like edit-warring, even when each change is justified.
The fifth is ignoring the talk page. A short, polite request with sources usually achieves more than a direct change that others must undo.
Wikipedia page editing company in Armenia: what you receive
You receive a written plan before work starts, covering scope, sources to be used, the changes we expect to propose and the disclosure we will make.
During the project you get progress notes at agreed points, with links to each edit or request so you can see exactly what was done and who responded.
At the end you receive a closing report, the full source list and a short guide to keeping the page healthy afterwards. Everything is addressed to you as the client, and we never promise a particular outcome, because the decision belongs to independent volunteers.
Search engines, AI assistants and the Wikipedia page edit
Search engines and AI assistants read Wikipedia heavily. A fact that is wrong on the page is often repeated in knowledge panels and in generated answers, which is why careful editing has effects well beyond the article.
Clear structure helps: a precise lead, consistent names and dates, a complete infobox and well-chosen categories make the page easier to summarise correctly.
We do not edit for algorithms. We edit for accuracy and neutrality, and the visibility follows when the page is sound and well sourced.
Updating Wikipedia pages for Armenian organisations working with international partners
Subjects from Armenia often change quickly: companies merge, organisations rebrand and public figures change roles. Each change creates a small window in which the page is wrong.
We update promptly when independent coverage appears, and we avoid editing on rumour or announcements that have not been reported.
The aim is a page that is right today and still defensible a year from now.
Planning a Wikipedia page edit calendar for Armenia
Editing works best when it follows real events. A product launch, a leadership change or an award in Armenia is the right moment to update a page, because new independent coverage usually appears within days.
We keep a simple calendar for each client: known events, dates when coverage is likely to be published, and a review slot every quarter. That avoids rushed edits made the week before a deadline.
Volunteers review in their own time, so we also leave room for discussion before anything is expected to be final.
How long a Wikipedia page edit takes in Armenia
Small, well-sourced corrections can be made within days. Larger changes usually take two to four weeks, because they involve research, drafting, disclosure and often discussion with volunteers.
Review time is not under our control. Edit requests on a talk page may be answered quickly or may wait for weeks, particularly for subjects connected to Armenia where few editors are active.
We give an estimate at the outset and update it whenever something changes, so you are not left guessing.
What we need from you for a Wikipedia page edit
We need a clear statement of what you want changed and why, plus any documents that support it: registry entries, certificates, official announcements, or published articles.
We also need to know your connection to the subject. Disclosure is a requirement, and we prepare the wording for you to approve.
Please nominate one person who can answer questions quickly. Most delays happen because a fact needs confirming and nobody is available to do it.
Sources we accept and sources we reject in a Wikipedia page edit
We accept independent, published sources with editorial oversight: national and regional newspapers, respected magazines, books from established publishers, academic journals and official records where appropriate.
We reject sources that the subject controls or paid for, such as press releases, sponsored articles, social media posts and most company blogs. User-generated sites and unsourced directories are also avoided.
For Armenia we judge each Armenian-language outlet on its own record. A regional paper with an editor and a correction policy is acceptable, while a content farm is not.
Paid editing rules and disclosure for a Wikipedia page edit
Anyone who is paid to edit Wikipedia must disclose their employer, client and affiliation. This is required by the Wikimedia Foundation’s Terms of Use and is repeated in the English Wikipedia policy on conflicts of interest.
We disclose on our user page, on the talk page of the article and in edit summaries where relevant. Clients with a direct connection are encouraged to use the edit request process instead of editing the page themselves.
Following these rules is the only sustainable approach. Pages that were changed in secret are the ones that end up tagged, reverted or deleted.
What happens if a Wikipedia page edit is reverted
Rejection is not unusual and it is rarely final. When a volunteer reverts an edit or declines a request, we read the reason and respond on the talk page with a source or a revised proposal.
If the objection is correct, we withdraw the change and tell you why. If it is based on a misreading, we explain politely and, where appropriate, ask for a second opinion from another volunteer.
We never reinstate a reverted edit without discussion, because that is how a small disagreement turns into a block.
Wikidata, infoboxes and data consistency after a Wikipedia page edit
Wikidata is the structured database behind many Wikipedia infoboxes and knowledge panels. If it disagrees with the page, search engines may show the wrong fact even after the article is fixed.
We check the Wikidata item for the subject, correct statements that have sources and add references where they are missing.
Consistency matters across editions as well. A date that differs between English and other language versions is a quiet source of confusion.
Reporting after a Wikipedia page edit in Armenia
When the work is done you receive a report that lists each change, the source used, any discussion that took place and the current state of the page.
We also note anything we saw but did not change, such as an uncited section that is outside the agreed scope or a talk-page comment that deserves a reply later.
The report is written to be read by someone who was not involved in the project, so it still makes sense in a year.
